South Abaco Adventures was formed to provide the numerous repeat visitors to Abaco an option to experience the beauty and thrills which South Abaco has to offer.  Both Captain Roberts and Captain Bain are lifelong residents of Sandy Point.  Their experiences are not limited to the sea… terrestrial tours of blue holes, Hole in the Wall Lighthouse and others can also be provided upon request.

The Boat

South Abaco Adventures operates a 31′ Scarab Center Console “Southern Crews,” the sport model, which offers a large soft top for shade as well as a forward cabin, lots of dry storage and abundant open space to fight the catch of a lifetime.  Twin 250HP Johnson engines will maximize your time and experience on the water.

All bait and tackle is provided.  We use Shimano spinning reels and Penn trolling outfits.

Captain Anthony Bain

Captain Bain is the primary operator of “Southern Crews” and is a lifelong resident of Sandy Point with over 40 years experience fishing the waters of Southern Abaco.  He resides in Sandy Point with wife Yvonne and their son Rashad who is currently attending college in Nassau.  Captain Bain’s experience is wide, ranging from flats to the blue water to the Tounge of the Ocean.

Captain Preston Roberts

Captain Roberts is a lifelong resident of Sandy Point and resides with his wife and son, William “Willie” Roberts.  Captain Roberts is also employed by the Bahamas Electric Corporation (BEC) and enjoys operating trips in his spare time.  He has over 30 years experience on the waters of South Abaco.
